Robert James Campbell, Sr.

Mr. Robert James Campbell, Sr., 56 of Charlotte Court House passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 in Lynchburg. He was born December 20, 1953 in Wichita, Kansas. He was a son of the late James Clark and Doris Knobloch Campbell. He served in the United States Navy. Robert worked as a mechanic at Duffeys Garage and Douglas Auto.
He is survived by his sons, Robert Campbell, Jr. and wife, Laura and Michael Abbott and wife, Jamie; his brother, Michael Campbell and wife, Diane; sisters, Marylou Vanarsdale and husband, Mike, Patricia Ferrari and husband, John, Deborah Lutz and husband, Rob and Linda Frye and husband, Charlie; his two grandchildren, Nicholas and Haley; his cousins, Cam and Mary Jane Dornauer, beloved friend, Mary Campbell and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Hollingsworth.
A memorial service will be held Monday, February 22, 2010 7:00PM at the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Monday evening 6:00-7:00PM before the service.
