Robert Lee Keen Sr

On Thursday, December 21, 2023, Robert Lee Keen, Sr., 71, passed away at his home in Ford, VA. Robert was preceded in death by his faithful best buddy, Tippy, parents William and Millie (Worley) Keen, sisters, Louise Henshaw, June Morgan and brother, Bill Keen and a brother-in-law, Bill Morgan.  Robert was born on August 17, 1952 in Saltville, VA, he told everyone this is why he had to have so much salt! He was the best husband, father, grandfather, teacher, advisor, supporter and friend. He was a hardworking man all of his life. From building houses, to being a Dinwiddie Deputy to driving an 18 wheeler, he did what he could to provide and care for his family. He was a faithful man of God. He regularly shared messages that God put on his heart to help others in their search for Jesus. The greatest message Robert would want to share is that good works alone will not get you into Heaven, it's your belief upon Jesus. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy, his son, Robert Keen, Jr., daughters Stephanie and Heather, son-in-law Maurice, daughter-in-law Donna, grandchildren Jeffrey Alan, Travis Lee, Lilyann Keen and Genesis Williams, brother Campbell and sister-in-law Nancye, brother-in-law Horace Henshaw, aunt-in-law Linda Pratt, a special nephew, Todd Morgan, a special great niece Emma Keen, as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends.
