Robert Sidney Wooten Sr.

Robert Sidney Wooten, 93, of Farmville, Va passed away on August 27, 2022. He is the son of the late Floyd H. and Bessie Griffin Wooten.
He is survived by his son, Bob (Linda) Wooten, Granddaughter Rachel (Nathaniel) Wooten Barley and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Wooten.

He was born February 7th, 1929, in Buckingham County, Va. He was a retired courier for Purolator, Inc. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Robert was an avid gardener, and shared tomatoes, cucumbers and other vegetables with friends and neighbors. He never met a stranger and would strike up a conversation with anyone.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM in Puckett Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Prince Edward Volunteer Rescue Squad.

Burial will be private and held at a later date.
