Robert William Smith, 38 of Farmville, VA passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014. He was born on October 26, 1975 to Willard K. and Mary Ralston Smith in Charlottesville, VA. He loved the out doors, fishing and hunting with his brother Sammy. He is survived by his wife; Amber Hicks Smith, a daughter; Sydney Dale Smith, brother; Sammy David Smith (Lindsay), a sister; Tammy Jean Smith, 5 nephews; Freddy, Stephen, Dylan, Ryder and Gabe Smith, 3 nieces; Jessica, Brittany and Chloe Smith, 3 aunts; Rosie Roston, Ruth Ward and Francis Sites, 2 uncles; David Rosson and John Ward. He was preceded in death by his mother; Mary A. Smith Bates, grandmother, Mary A. Ralston and grandfather; Robert Ralston. Family will receive friends on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Puckett Funeral Home from 6:00PM – 8:00PM. A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 in Prize Hill Cemetery, Free Union, VA at 1:00PM. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family.
