Robert Wade Jenkins Jr

Robert W. Jenkins Jr. 73 of Green Bay, VA passed away on November 28, 2018. He was born April 16, 1945 in Farmville, VA.
He was a graduate of Prince Edward Academy. After graduation he worked full time on the family farm, Boot Hill Dairy. He loved to hunt, watch the Redskins play football and ride in his truck viewing the beauty of “God’s Country” and the rolling Hills of Virginia. He loved God, his family and his “drinking” buddies.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Anna R. Jenkins, sons; Bob (Betsy), Mark (Jennie) and Temple (Charlene), his grandsons; Gabe, Wade and Walker Jenkins, sisters; Barbara (Robert) Bowen, Nancy (William) King and Ann (Louis) King, many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Sarah Jenkins and a sister Sandra Jenkins.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment to follow at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Puckett Funeral Home from 6:00PM – 8:00PM.
