Sanae Chubb

Mrs. Sanae Chubb, 81 of Farmville passed away Monday in Farmville. She was born January 26, 1928 in Japan. She was the daughter of the late Jerokichi and Shizuko Kurata Kaneko. She was retired from Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. She was a member of St. Theresas Catholic Church in Farmville. She was the widow of Boyd Chubb, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Alan Chubb and wife, Diane of Carlisle, PA, her daughter, Alice McCormick and husband, Chris of Farmville, her sisters, Kinue Reilly of Baltimore, MD and Michiho Hamada of Japan, brother, Takagi Kaneko of Japan, her five grandchildren, Alycia, Jade, Hunter, Brady and Paige Chubb, her great grandson, Hayden Conner and nieces and nephews, Joanna Zook, Megan, Daniel and Mark Reilly. She was preceded in death by her husband, her sister, Manami Shibuya and her brother, Ryogi Kaneko.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, November 28, 2009 11:00AM at St. Theresas Catholic Church with interment to be held Monday, November 30, 2009 10:00AM at Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Family will receive friends Saturday 10:00-11:00AM at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Theresas Catholic Church.
