Sarah Emma Wright Jenkins

Sarah Emma Wright Jenkins, 93 of Greenbay, VA passed away at her home on Tuesday September 20, 2011. She was the widow of Robert Wade Jenkins. She was born in Cumberland, VA on June 25, 1918 to the late Walter and Annie Smith Wright. She is survived by her children: Robert Jenkins, Jr and his wife, Anna of Greenbay, VA. Barbara Bowen and her husband, Robert of Burkeville, VA, Nancy King and her husband, William, Ann King and her husband, Louis and Sandra Jenkins, all of Greenbay, VA; her sister, Gladys Loan, of Farmville, 11 Grandchildren and 16 Great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Hamlet and Walter Wright, sisters; Pauline Bollinger, Annie Crowder, Naomi Parker and Virginia Newman and her grandson, Timmy King. A funeral service will be held on Saturday September 24, 2011 at 11:00AM at Sharon Baptist Church in Greenbay, VA.with interment in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday, September 23, 2011 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home.
