Stacy Brandon Thompson

Stacy Brandon Thompson, 23 of Farmville passed away Sunday in Farmville. He was born January 21, 1987 in Richmond, Virginia. Stacy worked for the Town of Farmville. He was a dedicated volunteer of the Farmville Fire Department and the Prince Edward County Rescue Squad. He loved helping and serving people in their time of need. Younger children greatly looked up to Stacy, as a role model for them. He enjoyed playing baseball and softball very much, as well as hunting, fishing and shopping at Bass Pro Shops.
He is survived by his parents, John and Wanda Thompson of Farmville, his brother, Shawn of Farmville, Maternal grandparents, Billy and Mildred Flippin and Alvin Mason all of Farmville and Paternal grandmother, Flossie Harris of Green Bay; a special friend, Jesse Smith, his dear pets, Sam and Abby and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
A funeral service will be held Friday, August 6, 2010 1:00PM at the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice. Family will receive friends Thursday, August 5, 2010 5:00-9:00PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Farmville Fire Department or to Prince Edward County Rescue Squad.

Cemetery:
Interment will follow the service on Friday at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice.

Visitation:
Family will receive friends Thursday evening 5:00-9:00PM at the funeral home.

Service:
A funeral service will be held Friday, August 6, 2010 1:00PM at the chapel of the funeral home.
