Thomas Leslie Wells

Thomas “Tommy” Leslie Wells passed away on July 18, 2015 (age 56). Tommy
was born in Alexandria, Virginia on August 9, 1958 to parents Kenneth
“Maynard” and Shirley Wells and older sister Peggy Ann Wells. Tommy
graduated from Fort Hunt High School, and after playing football at Potomac
State University he moved to Tampa, Florida where he raised his family. In
later years he returned to his family’s farm in Farmville, Virginia and
enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, being outdoors, and watching the
Redskins play ball. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Jane Wells, his
children, Ashley and Christopher Wells, and a host of loving uncles, aunts,
cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. A memorial service will be held
on Saturday, July 25, at 1 PM at the Farmville United Methodist Church,212
High Street, Farmville, Virginia.
