It is with great sadness that the family of William “Will” Henderson Johnson Jr. announces his passing away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the age of 39 years.
He was born on April 30, 1979 in Farmville, VA, the son of William “Billy” Henderson Johnson Sr. and the late Pamela Wilmouth Johnson.
Will graduated from Fuqua in 1997 and from Virginia Poly Technical Institute 2008. Will enjoyed playing golf and basketball with friends. You could find him wherever there was Karoke and Buffalo Chicken wings, he was the life of the party. He had many friends and loved to make people laugh. He was Virginia Techs biggest fan.
He is survived by his dad, his sister Abbi Johnson Williams and her husband Dane, his nephew Rylan and niece Allie.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 12:00PM in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home.
The family requests that memorial contributions can be made to the
Cook Counseling Center at Virginia Tech.
